About Lumiq Lighting
Lumiq Lighting exists for one reason: outdoor lighting should be engineered as carefully as the architecture it reveals.
Our position
Most outdoor lighting is sold on catalog size. We think that's backwards. A property doesn't need eighty fixtures to choose from — it needs a small set that were actually solved: sealed properly, aimed precisely, and wired onto a system that can grow.
So we work the other way around. We take a single problem at a time — glare spilling past a facade, a lead that corrodes at the joint, a beam that can't tighten enough for a tall palm — and we don't release the product until it's answered. Quality isn't a material we advertise; it's what's left after the engineering is honest.
The result is a short, deliberate line of fixtures built to disappear into the landscape and keep working long after the install crew has gone home.
How we got here
Outdoor lighting has a reputation problem: fixtures that look right in the box, then cloud over, corrode at the lead, or drift off color after a couple of seasons. Lumiq Lighting began as a refusal to accept that as normal.
Instead of chasing product count, we built one low-voltage system and designed every fixture to live on it. Consistent connectors, consistent voltage window, consistent color temperature across the property.
Sealing, thermal behavior, and optics get tested where they actually work — in the ground, in the rain, in the heat. Anything that only performs on a bench doesn't ship.
Innovation here means small, honest gains: a better gasket, a cleaner beam cutoff, a smarter mount. We ship them as we prove them, and we stand behind them for five years.
What we hold to
We start from the beam, not the body. Every optic, shield, and finish exists to control where light lands — and to keep the fixture out of the frame.
Spotlights, path lights, and controls all run on the same low-voltage backbone. Add a zone in year three without rewiring what you installed in year one.
Housings are die-cast, gaskets are IP65-sealed, and revisions ship when the field tells us something can be better — not when a catalog cycle says so.
We would rather sell a handful of fixtures we can defend than a hundred we can't. Every SKU earns its place or it doesn't get made.
Shipped from the US
Every fixture, bulb, and length of cable ships from our own US warehouse. Orders leave within 24 hours on tracked delivery, and US orders ship free — so a job that starts Monday isn't waiting on a container in week three.

Stay close
We only send something when there's a real reason — a new product, a design note, or a change worth knowing about before your next install.
